Our Story

Texas Pistols is a volleyball club located the Northwest portions of the metroplex.  Our first year as a club was in 2013 as the Texas Hotshots. After one successful season as the Hotshots- we changed our name to Texas Pistols and have been growing and winning ever since! We began TXP by winning Lonestar two years in a row and our 11's and 12's  placed 9th and 5th, respectively, at Girls' Junior National Championships in 2015.  In 2017, our 14 Black team won the Bronze Medal in 14 American division at the Girls' Junior National Championships. In 2018, three of our teams qualified for the Junior Girls National Championship tournament, with 15 Black placing 9th in the nation. 2019 was our best season yet- with 5 of our 17 teams qualifying for Nationals (11 Black, 13 Black, 14 Black, 15 Black - and 16 Black with an Open Division Bid.)

Our success is because of a very simple philosophy - DISCIPLINE.  You don't get what you want, you get what you earn. Hard work, setting achievable goals, and not being afraid to give 150% is the key to a fun and winning season.  Our coaches believe that a fun, disciplined, motivating environment will allow a child to mature and strive to be great. We are not just building volleyball players. We are building strong, confident young women.

2020 is shaping up to be a huge season for TXP. This summer we started construction on our very own practice facility. Our 4 court gym will be open for practices later this fall. With the opening of our new gym home, we are confident that our training and practices will be elevated for our athletes and families to maximize time at the gym.  We are so excited to be in Northwest Tarrant to expand our reach to competitive players across the metroplex.
