Our Story & Mission
Our Story
Texas Pistols Volleyball is located in the Northwest portions of the metroplex. Our first year as a club was in 2013 as the Texas Hotshots. After one successful season as the Hotshots- we changed our name to Texas Pistols and have been growing and winning ever since! We began TXP by winning Lonestar two years in a row and our 11's and 12's placed 9th and 5th, respectively, at Girls' Junior National Championships in 2015. In 2017, our 14 Black team won the Bronze Medal in the 14 American division at the Girls' Junior National Championships. In 2018, three of our teams qualified for the Junior Girls National Championship tournament, with 15 Black placing 9th in the nation. 2019 proved to be another great season - with 5 of our 17 teams qualifying for Nationals. 2020 was set to be our best year yet- with 2 teams winning the Sunshine National Qualifier, but COVID ended our pursuit of a national championship. 2021 has been full of challenges and triumphs! Six of our 20 club teams have qualified for the Girls’ National Championships in Las Vegas. We came home with TWO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in 2021 both 12 Black and 13 Black won their divisions. We could not be more proud of these teams and this season! 2022 awaits- and our teams will be ready!
Our Mission
Our success is because of a very simple philosophy - DISCIPLINE. You don't get what you want, you get what you earn. Hard work, setting achievable goals, and not being afraid to give 150% is the key to a fun and winning season. Our coaches believe in a fun, disciplined, motivating environment for all our athletes. We are not just building volleyball players. We are building strong, confident young women.
